| Description | The HTS Hygiene and Toileting System by Rifton promotes the forward positioning that is ideal and natural for effective toileting. The HTS is usable on, over and off the toilet, no tools required, making the lives of caregivers better too. Support and comfort, according to research, are essential to good toileting in children with special needs. For this reason, we have paid close attention to designing components that give children a sense of safety, security and support. The maximum support and comfort are provided by the tilt-in-space base option. Its gas-assisted cylinder tilts up to 5 degrees forward for easier transfer, as well as 25 degrees back for showering and hair washing. For those who still need 15 degrees of forward tilt, an optional tilt angle converter (Z169) is available. The Rifton HTS is one of the most affordable toileting systems available today which makes it an extraordinary value. On top of that, you can configure the Rifton HTS in a myriad of ways to fit your clients and your budget. Options range from the basic model, with seat, back, base and armrests to the fully accessorized version, with seat and back pads, headrest, butterfly harness, anterior support/tray, lateral supports, hip guides, commode pan, deflector, abductor, ankle straps, calf support and footboard. |
