Professionals working with patients needing head coverage after surgery can place positioning pads around the inside of this clear shell. In an area of recent surgery for example, pads would be placed around a wound or surgical site to keep helmet shell elevated and away from the affected area. Clear polycarbonate shell, edged with soft foam is then lined with self adhesive foam pads in various thicknesses, and ventilation holes are added. Suggestions for placement of the pads are included with the helmet.


Since proper fit is important for the comfort of the person wearing headgear, measurements should be determined by professional personnel.

Measure the head circumference (A) at eyebrow level. Occipital measurement (b) is taken from eyebrow level to the back of the head at the point that the helmet is to end. Over the top of the Head (C) to top of ears.
