Product Description
The EasyPivot Model EP-260 is intended primarily for use in the institutional setting where quick adjustment from patient to patient is needed.
The Model EP-260 is a third-generation design featuring a center-mounted column, a variable-width base, high-quality vinyl-covered padding, and a powder-coated finish in textured ivory.
As with other EasyPivots, the Model EP-260 helps lift the patient from wheelchair or bed. It braces the patient's knees and the chestpad rotates upward and forward to raise the patient's buttocks. Calf straps and back straps are provided for security and an adjustable thigh strap is incorporated to help the patient be transferred.
The Model EP-260 can accommodate persons weighing up 330 pounds and up 6'6" tall. The transfer machine's outer width can be varied from 25" to 37". Its chest pad height can be adjusted 8" - from 30" to 38" from the floor. Chest pad height adjustments are made by rotating a small crank. The transfer machine's base width can be adjusted while the patient is "aboard."
Adding to the Model EP-260's versatility is an optional variable-height foot base. It can be raised and lowered simply by removing to quick pins. Height adjustment is 7" total.
