You can simply loosen a few Allen bolts with the included Allen wrench, remove the existing wheelbase, replace it with the optional Explorer gait trainer wheelbase kit, and your child has just been given the freedom to explore the outdoors while walking, too! This versatility eliminates the need for purchasing another gait trainer for use outside.
The Discovery Gait Trainer is highly adjustable and includes safety stops on all chest, height and angle adjustments. Adjustments can also be made to the padded abductor and back pads for the most comfortable and stable fit.The Discovery Gait Trainer, with just the standard features, is recommended for children with mild to moderate physical involvement. However, optional accessories such as depth, height and angle adjustable arm supports, ankle prompts, hip laterals, abdominal pad, and a push handle can be added separately for children who require additional support to maintain an upright standing posture.
