The 24" x 1" Snap-on Wheelchair Tire is a non-marking black tire with a solid pyramid design with no cord inside. It has a smooth tread with a low profile that never goes flat. Designed for those wheelchair rims without a valve hole for an inner tube valve stem. Tire diameter is 19" and must be stretched onto wheelchair rim.

This tire works with 24 inch wheels of the Breezy Ultra 4 and other wheelchair models from Invacare, Drive Medical, and more.

Polyurethane tire installation:

Polyurethane tires are smaller than the wheel rim, so they must be stretched onto the rim. This requires a significant amount of force, and most wheels are 2-3 inches larger than the tire, so hand installation is not possible.

We highly recommend using a tire installation tool for easier installation.

Made of 100% Akton polymer, these Mattress Overlays are used to cover the entire surface, or isolated areas, of an existing standard mattress. Used by hospitals and long term care facilities as a significant component in prevention and treatment of decubitus ulcers, AKTON polymer will not migrate like gels, does not promote bacterial growth and is ideal for multiple client use.

An optional Hook and Loop hitch is available to secure one end of the overlay to the head of the bed. The hitch will reduce slippage when the bed is raised.
