The footboard is used for placement of feet and some weight-bearing through legs and feet during functional sitting activities. Also required for attaching sandals and ankle straps to meet specific positioning needs. The footboard swings backward out of the way for sit-to-stand transfers, or clients can use the footboard as a step for transfers.

Bandage with soothing zinc oxide/calamine formulation provides firm compression therapy. Promotes healing of irritated or ulcerated skin. Nonraveling gauze is easy to apply.

Cardinal Health Four-Layer Compression Bandage System is indicated for the management of venous leg ulcers and related conditions. The compression system may be used on patients with an ankle circumference 18 cm or larger (padded). Compression data indicates that the Cardinal Health Four-Layer Compression Bandage System provides sustained compression for up to seven days at both the ankle and below the knee, when used according to package insert directions.
