The Jamar Hydraulic Pinch Gauge is an easy-to-use evaluation tool for measuring finger strength and pinching capabilities. Pinch the silver tab to get an instant PSI reading on the gauge needle. The pinch gauge freezes at maximum force for easier reading.

Pinch force is measured on a dual scale in pounds and kilograms (45 lbs. or 22.5 kg. maximum reading). The instrument was designed to be held by a therapist, so that the weight of the pinch gauge is not supported by the client being tested.
