Some key features of the Carroll CS9 Hi-Low: First, With an Auto Contour feature that simultaneously raises both the head and knees, the bed user stays comfortably in place while being better positioned for reading, watching TV or talking to family members. The simultaneous movement also helps prevent painful skin shearing that might otherwise occur during repositioning.

Unlike other models in the CS series, the CS9 FX600 has the ability to adjust from a 36 inch width to either a 39 or a 42 inch width to accommodate the size of the user. This size change can be done without the need for tools. The CS9 FX600 also has a 600 pound weight capacity - a full 100 pounds more than the CS5 or CS7 bed.

An ergonomic 8-button hand pendant fits comfortably in hand and can be positioned on either side of the bed for your convenience. The water-resistant controls have independent head and leg height adjustments as well as a full bed height controls.

The exclusive slat deck design provides a comfortable sleep surface while improving infection control by allowing more air to reach the bottom of the mattress which prevents moisture buildup. This design also reduces wear and tear on the mattress compared to traditional designs thus extending the life of the mattress.

An optional 10-function Attendant Control Panel allows staff to easily operate all functions of the bed from the footboard. In addition, staff can choose to restrict access to the resident by locking out any or all functions of the Hand Control directly from the panel.

Finally, the Carroll CS9 doesn't require tools for assembly, making setup and adjustments simple and easy.
