ISAGel Instant Hand Sanitizer (1644, 1645, 7041) - Coloplast
|Unit of Measure:||Bo|
In October 2002, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new guidelines for hand hygiene in healthcare settings. This guideline recommends the use of no-rinse alcohol-based hand sanitizers to help decrease the number of hospital acquired infections.
Studies leading to the release of the CDC guideline showed that alcohol-based rubs decreased the amount of bacteria on hands better than regular soaps, created less skin irritation and dryness, and was more accessible to users.
Coloplast's instant hand sanitizer, Isagel contains added moisturizers and is compatible with CHG surgical scrubs and latex, nitrile, and vinyl gloves.
